Looking around for some great wedding favor ideas for your big day? There are plenty to choose from. You can choose fun favors, thoughtful favors or even traditional favors. For instance, wedding bells can be purchased and handed out to the guests, which can be used to celebrate the big kiss and after the ceremony. Are you hearing wedding bells?
Another party favor that is available and is actually quite unique are fortune cookies. You can come up with fun fortunes to put into the cookies for the guests to read. Get creative! Or maybe you want everyone to join in your big day and taking home a piece of the cake – why not give them wedding cameras, so that they can publish their view of the wedding and share them with everyone? You can find some reasonably priced wedding cameras as well.
Nothing is sweeter than wedding candy favors. Pick from a multitude of candy flavors
and types, from chocolate with filling or fruity gushers. There are some shops that will even allow you to customize your wedding candy with the colors and flavors you want.
Are you wearing your glass slippers to the wedding? That would be ultra uncomfortable, but that doesn’t mean you can’t bring them along. With glass etchings, you can have an etcher craft glass slippers to go with the theme of your wedding.
The options for wedding favors really are endless and limitless, so don’t let your creativity get the best of you, get the best of it!
When it comes to planning your wedding, you have to get every single detail from the flowers and decorations to the apparel and transportation. Now, your options for transportation all depend on where your wedding will be held and where you and your guests are coming from. The transportation ideas for brides and their grooms have gotten more and more creative over the years. Of course, if you will be traveling out of state or even the country, you will need to book airplane tickets months in advance to ensure you get the best deals for everyone. You don’t want to leave anyone stranded because you waited until the last minute to book flights.
If you are planning a wedding across seas, you don’t always have to take an airplane. Cruise ships are also perfect for getting to destinations and can be much fun along the way. If you or anyone traveling to your wedding is afraid of flying, this would be the perfect alternative.
Now, how about the ride to your actual wedding spot? The most tradition is to have a limousine bring the bride and groom to the wedding and this can still be done with style. Choose a limo company that offers old fashioned white glove services for black stretch limos or choose to be more modernized with a stretch hummer limo or some other sort of non-traditional limousine. You can also decide to get a horse and carriage for the ride to or from your wedding ceremony. The options are out there, so search around for something that suits what you want!

Fewer Double Dip Recession Concerns for Jewelry Retailers
Fine jewelry retailers find benefit to rising gold prices as fears of a double dip recession and inflation increases the value of gold inventory.
Rosemead, CA (MarketWire) August 3, 2010 – PerryOlsen.com, an emerging company in the online marketplace for gold wedding bands and fine diamond jewelry continues to see increased demand for jewelry despite double dip recession concerns.
In the fall of 2008, the United States entered one of the worst global recessions to date, snowballing with each passing month. Fueled by risky derivatives, the crisis reached its lowest point in March of 2009 – as the Dow Jones, an important stock market index, fell by over 50%.
Raymond Ching of Perry Olsen comments, “We’ve come a long way from the March lows in terms of stock prices to the recent announcement of 2.4% quarterly growth, but concerns still linger for businesses around the globe. However, there’s one retail market where a double dip has less of a concern.”
Although a double dip recession will depreciate stock prices, the market can rely on the gradual rise in gold prices as inflation continues to increase due to the government’s attempt to stimulate the economy. See the chart for a twenty year price history of gold per ounce (source: www.goldprice.org).

In the previous twenty years, gold rose steadily and did not experience as severe of a drop as the stock market during crashes. Fortunately for gold investors, the long term trend is up with little to indicate a decline to the late 1990s level any time soon.
Leading men’s wedding band and women’s diamond ring retailers such as: PerryOlsen.com, BlueNile.com, Kay.com and Zales.com are constantly monitoring the price of gold in order to adjust their cost basis and retail prices allowing them to maintain profitability.
Those that are planning to buy wedding jewelry can benefit from increasing gold prices. As gold continues its march towards $2000 an ounce, a commitment towards a significant other is an investment worth more than an “I do.” Ching further states, “As your love for one another grows so will the value of your gold wedding rings. Now is one of the best times to purchase gold wedding rings and to also enjoy the tax break that will come with marital status.”

A lot of women want to plan their own wedding, but sometimes life won’t allow them to. When life gets hectic and out of control, it is best to think of your other options. Consider hiring a wedding planner! Of course, the first thing that should come to mind is your ability to afford one, so make sure it is well within your budget before doing so. In some cases, you can ditch the idea of hiring a wedding planner and decide to ask your mother, mother-in-law or maid of honor to help you with getting everything organized. Both options can be great and the latter is obviously a lot cheaper.

Hiring a wedding planner isn’t always a bad idea, especially since they work in the industry and have plenty of ideas for your wedding. So if you’re a bit clueless about the colors, decorations and gowns that will be worn, you can get great assistance from a wedding planner. Now, depending on where you live will determine the wedding planners that you will have available to you. Of course, if you live in major cities in states like New York, California, Florida and Texas, then you should have no problem pinpointing one. Make sure to check the availability of the planners to ensure that you don’t bump heads with another bride that is trying to utilize their services. Interview the wedding planners before hiring and ship around for the best deal!
Chelsea Clinton’s wedding of course! If you didn’t hear about the expensively elegant wedding that was held for Chelsea and her fiancee Marc on Saturday, you’ve missed out on a $5 million (spent on jewelry, tents, lavish portapotties, decorations and security) wedding made in heaven. It was held at the Astor Court mansion in Rhinebeck, New York. The home was commissioned in 1902 by John Jacob Astor IV, who is the founder of The Waldorf-Astoria hotel. So where does the Titanic come in? Well, Astor passed away on the ship when it sank.

The Astor estate has been on the real estate market for well over a year and the sellers, Kathy Hammer and her husband, are hoping that the Chelsea Clinton wedding extravaganza will boost up the attention of their property. Their realtor says that one of the guests of the wedding may buy it and that the property will likely sell at $10 million. Kathy spent over $9 million trying to fix up the hotel over a three year period. The property was taken off the listing on July 8th.
It is very likely that this home will sell quickly now that it has much historical reference to it. Not only is it over a century old, but the former president’s daughter got married there! We’ll see how things go — who knows, someone may buy it and show it off like a museum. It’s been done plenty times before.
Your wedding is one of the many moments in your life that you will want to cherish forever and share with others around you. What better way to capture the beauty of your wedding than by hiring a wedding videographer? With a videographer, you will be able to have live coverage of everything that happens on your big day, from the moments before you walk down the aisle, the kiss that seals the deal to the first dance with the bride and groom and smashing the cake into each others’ faces. You’ll want to capture everything that happens on your big day, so hire a professional videographer who will do it perfectly.
You can also hire wedding photographers to take pictures of your special moments. Captivate smiling guests, tears of joy and everyone dancing and having fun. Filling up your wedding album with joyful memories can easily be done when you have professional help. Of course, family and friends will have their own cameras to take snapshots of your big day. There’s just a difference between the quality and professionalism of pros and the typical digital cameras guests use. Sometimes the right angle says it all.

Finding a wedding videographer and photographer can easily be done with the use of the Internet and phone book. Shop around for the best prices to see who you can afford and who you prefer. Make sure to check out their portfolios. Some photographers have online portfolios that can be seen from your home computer.
There are many great benefits to be had when you choose to buy from local wedding vendors. Depending on where you live will determine the variety of options you have. Sometimes traveling out of town can be a lot better and cheaper than shopping from wedding boutiques across the nation. The great thing about dealing with local wedding vendors allows you to actually try on things and see them in person before purchasing. When buying from a wedding catalog or the internet, you don’t get this luxury.

You can also go to local wedding vendors can also allow you to network with other businesses in the wedding industry, such as wedding musicians, wedding jewelers, party rentals and wedding florists, among others. If you’re interested in getting a wedding planner, you can likely find a couple there as well. Bridal shows are perfect for this as well. Many wedding industry experts meet up at bridal shows to offer their services to any bride-to-bes. You can also find many beautiful flowers, wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses and decorations being showcased there as well. Make the best of local wedding vendors and bridal shows to see how you can get great deals for your upcoming wedding. You can search around for local wedding vendors online or in your phone book. Bridal shows are usually advertised in bridal magazines and newspapers, so make sure to check them out as well.
